Journey to Apple Country
Begin your trip from Delhi and head straight to Narkanda (approx. 10 hrs). It’s your first taste of Himachal’s hillside charm. Spend the night in the warm embrace of apple orchards.
Into the Sutlej Valleys
Drive towards Kalpa, riding along the Sutlej River valley. Marvel at the dramatic landscape changes and settle in for the night with panoramic views of the Kinnaur peaks.
Towards the High-Altitude Desert
Make your way to the village of Tabo via Nako Lake. On the route, stop to see the mummified remains in the mysterious Gue Village. Reach Tabo and rest amidst cold desert serenity.
Monasteries & Mountain Mystique
Drive from Tabo to Kaza. En route, visit the cliff-hanging Dhankar Monastery and, if time permits, the dreamy Pin Valley. Spend the night in Kaza — Spiti’s biggest town.
Explore the Highest Inhabited Villages
The day will be occupied by the Langza–Hikkim–Komic loop. In Langza, you will see fossils, mail a letter from Hikkim – which you will love knowing is the highest post office in the world, and visit Komic – one of the world's most motorable villages.
Chandratal: Where the Moon Meets the Mountains
After breakfast, we will travel to Chandratal Lake, a scenic drive with captivating views. Enjoy a magical night under the blanket of the stars, stay in a tent by the moon-shaped lake. Pure Himalayan bliss!
Into the Green Again
Leave Chandratal behind and if the weather permits, drive through Kunzum Pass and Rohtang Pass to Manali. The shift from the bare expanse of Spiti to the lush beautiful green valleys will leave you astounded.
Rest, Rewind, & Recharge
This day is solely for yourself. Take a break on this day! Use this free day to visit some of Manali’s little cozy cafés, take a slow walk by the Beas River or just relax after the adrenaline rush of Spiti.
Return to Delhi
Finally the high-altitude adventure come to an end. Drive down to Delhi with memories of endless skies, whispering spirits and truly unique landscapes.
