Alternatively, you can reach New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) and then take a taxi or shared jeep to Gangtok. For Darjeeling, you can follow the same route to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and then take a 3-4 hour drive to Darjeeling.
