Transfer to Lachung and Sightseeing
On the third day of your Gangtok tour, get ready for a scenic drive to Lachung, about 116 km away, which takes around 6 hours. Start your day with a hearty breakfast and leave your hotel in Gangtok early. Lachung is a charming mountain village nestled at 8800 feet altitude near the Tibetian border. Don't miss visiting the 19th-century Buddhist Lachung Monastery amid picturesque apple orchards. En route, we will stop at Singhik View Point to enjoy the visuals of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt. Siniolchu. Then, marvel at the Seven Sisters Waterfalls, cascading gracefully in seven stages. You can enjoy lunch at Namok and take a quick tea break at Chungthang before continuing your journey to Lachung. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, where a delicious dinner awaits. Relax for the night in comfort.
Day tour to Yumthang Valley - Gangtok
On your fourth day of the tour, get ready for a mesmerizing journey from Lachung to Yumthang Valley, known as ‘The Valley of Flowers’. Begin with the breakfast, then check out from your hotel. Hop into a car for a scenic drive, about 24 km or 1 hour, to Yumthang Valley, situated 11,800 feet above sea level. Explore the valley's beauty, including Bheema and Twin Waterfalls. If you're up for more adventure, opt for a visit to the Zero Point, standing at 15,300 feet. Later, return to Gangtok, check in at your hotel, and unwind for the night. Alternatively, you can reach New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) and then take a taxi or shared jeep to Gangtok. For Darjeeling, you can follow the same route to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and then take a 3-4 hour drive to Darjeeling.
